Hairstyling

To give students the opportunity to acquire a broad knowledge of both the science and art of Hairstyling, and be able to use the knowledge as a foundation to be successful in the profession of Hairstyling. Students will develop his/her physical dexterity and manipulative skills and develop loyalty and enthusiasm for the profession. Successful completion of the West Virginia Hairstylist Program prepares the graduate to take the WV State Board examination which is necessary to obtain a license for an entry – level position as a hairstylist, or hair designer.

Program Details:

  • 1000 Hours (30 hours per week for 34 weeks)

  • Registration $100

  • Tuition for complete program $ 9,800

  • Tuition includes all books and supplies

Program Description:

Hairstyling is the study of the hair. The art of Hairstyling is the actual performance of the many beauty cultural practices. To derive the utmost benefit from Hairstyling; practical performance, demonstration and practice are employed in conjunction with the study of theory.
